Only an owner can do it. Only want to stop paying? You can cancel your plan and keep your forms and data. Under **Close firm**, click **Download all your data**, confirm it's you, and click **Download**. You get your forms, responses, reports, leads, workflows, bookings, payments, emails, files and the activity log in one download. See [Export your firm's data](https://oneform.si/help/billing/export-your-firms-data/). ## Close your firm 1. Go to [Settings → Data & privacy](https://app.oneform.si/settings/privacy). 2. Under **Close firm**, click **Close firm…**. 3. Type your firm's name exactly as it appears. 4. Enter **Your password**. If you don't use a password, this works within 15 minutes of signing in. 5. Click **Close firm**. ## What happens next Right away: - your forms stop taking answers; - your plan is canceled; - everyone working in the firm is signed out of it; - your firm's owners get an email with the date everything will be deleted. A week before that date, the owners get a last reminder. **Thirty days after you close it**, everything the firm holds is deleted for good: its clients' answers, reports, emails and files. ## Changed your mind? Until the 30 days are up, the firm can still be brought back. Reply to the email OneForm sent when you closed it, and say what happened. ## Good to know - **Your own account stays.** Closing the firm doesn't delete your OneForm account or your other firms. To delete your account too, see [Leave a firm or delete your account](https://oneform.si/help/team-and-account/leave-a-firm-or-delete-your-account/). - **Admins can't close the firm.** The **Close firm** section only shows for owners. ## Why don't I see Close firm? - **You're not an owner.** Only owners see it. Ask an owner, or ask them to make you one. ## Why won't the Close firm button work? - **The name doesn't match.** Type the firm's name exactly as it appears on the page. - **Your password isn't right**, or you signed in too long ago. Enter your password, or sign out, sign back in with an email link, and try again within 15 minutes. Was this article helpful?
