Typeform is the better choice when the form's look and feel matters most: conversational lead forms, surveys and quizzes shown one question at a time. Jotform is the better choice for range at a lower price: more submissions per dollar, payments, e-signatures, PDFs and approvals. For accounting firms and advisors who need a written, reviewed client report from each response, OneForm is the better fit than either.
We make OneForm, one of the three tools in this comparison. We've tried to be fair: every Typeform and Jotform detail below comes from the vendor's own pricing, product or help pages, checked in October 2026, and each section says who each tool is best for.

Key takeaways
- OneForm, built for accounting firms and financial advisors, drafts a written report from each response for your team to edit and approve before it goes to the client. Neither Typeform nor Jotform lists that step.
- As of October 2026, Typeform's paid plans start at $28 a month billed yearly (Basic, 100 responses a month), Jotform's at $34 a month billed yearly (Bronze, 1,000 submissions a month), and OneForm's at $19 a month (Basic, 300 responses a month).
- Jotform's free Starter plan allows 5 forms and 100 submissions a month. Typeform's Free plan allows unlimited forms but 10 responses a month across all of them. OneForm's Free Forever plan allows 3 live forms and 50 responses a month.
- Typeform's paid tiers include more than one user from Plus (3 users) upward, and OneForm's from Pro (3 team members). Jotform lists Starter, Bronze, Silver and Gold as single-user plans; Enterprise is its multi-user plan.
- Jotform bundles e-signatures, a PDF editor, approval workflows and 40+ payment gateways with no added Jotform transaction fee. Typeform offers payment and signature questions on paid plans. OneForm has neither inside the form; it charges for the report or call after the form through the firm's own Stripe account.

Where OneForm fits: the pick for firms
If you run an accounting, tax or advisory firm, the real question may not be which form builder to use, but what happens to each answer. OneForm is built for that job: "Forms in. Reports out." Every response can produce an AI-drafted report written from your firm's own instructions, which someone on your team edits and approves before it goes to the client as a branded PDF, now or on a schedule. Nothing goes out unreviewed unless you explicitly turn on auto-send.
What stands out
- Reviewed reports: a written, client-ready report from each response, not just a copy of the answers. Report emails show opens and clicks.
- One question at a time, like Typeform, with conditional logic, scores, multiple endings, themes and embeds. OneFormAI builds a form from one sentence or rebuilds an existing PDF, Word or Excel file, or a photo.
- Firm templates ready to use, such as the Tax Opportunity Report and the S Corporation Tax Checkup.
- Leads with one row per person across forms, scored by fit and intent, with sync to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce or Zoho (Pro and up).
- Booking pages and paid reports or paid calls through the firm's own Stripe account (every plan, Free included), and voice forms where clients answer by talking (Pro and up).
Honest limits
- OneForm is newer and narrower than Typeform and Jotform. It is built for firms, not for every form use case, and it has far fewer templates and integrations.
- It doesn't do file uploads, e-signatures, payments inside the form or a client document portal yet. If those are central to the form, Typeform or Jotform is the better fit.
Pricing
As of October 2026, OneForm's pricing is Free Forever ($0, 3 live forms, 50 responses a month, paid reports and bookings), Basic at $19 a month or $190 a year (unlimited live forms, 300 responses a month), Pro at $49 a month or $490 a year (3 team members, 1,500 responses, voice forms, CRM sync) and Firm at $149 a month or $1,490 a year (5 team members, 5,000 responses), in US dollars before tax. The Typeform and Jotform alternative pages go deeper.
Which is easier to use: Typeform, Jotform or OneForm?
All three are no-code builders. The real difference is what the person filling in the form sees.
Typeform: one question at a time
Typeform's signature format shows one question per screen, with a design-first builder, themes and multiple endings. It suits short, outward-facing forms where you want the experience to feel like a conversation: lead capture on a website, a quiz, a feedback survey. Its Typeform AI can build a form from a prompt or from files you upload (one file per billing month on the Free plan, with no monthly upload limit on paid plans, as of October 2026).
Jotform: classic forms, or cards when you want them
Jotform defaults to a traditional layout with several fields on a page, which is quicker to fill in when the respondent is entering a lot of data. When you want the one-question style, Jotform's Card Forms ask one question per page. Jotform AI builds a form from a plain-language description.
OneForm: one question at a time, built from a sentence or a file
OneForm shows every form one question at a time, like Typeform, and embeds on your website inline, as a popup or behind a button. You can describe the form in one sentence, or upload the PDF, Word or Excel organizer you already use, and OneFormAI drafts it. Drop-off analytics show which question loses people.
In practice: for a short form aimed at a prospect, Typeform's or OneForm's default fits better. For a long, operational or internal form, Jotform's classic layout is usually faster to fill in.
How do logic, templates and integrations compare?
Conditional logic and calculations
All three handle branching well. Typeform's Free plan already includes logic, branching and calculations, scores, variables and multiple endings. Jotform's conditional logic shows or hides fields, skips pages, sends emails to different people and shows different thank-you messages based on answers. OneForm includes conditional logic, scores and multiple endings on every plan, so a checkup can route a high-income business owner to different questions and a different ending than a W-2 employee.
Templates
Jotform's library is much larger: its template gallery lists 20,000+ form templates, plus separate PDF, Sign, workflow and app templates. Typeform's template gallery is smaller; Typeform's own comparison page describes it as hundreds of templates, organized around lead generation, registration, feedback, HR and quizzes. If you want to start from a ready-made form for an unusual use case, Jotform is more likely to have one.
OneForm's templates are far fewer but written for firms and the reports they send: tax checkups for business owners, S corporations, real estate investors, short-term rentals, year-end planning, retirement and Roth, investments, and families.
Integrations
Typeform's pricing page lists native integrations with Google Sheets, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Mailchimp, Slack, Calendly, Airtable and Salesforce, plus 500+ more through Zapier, and webhooks and APIs for developers. Salesforce, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel sit on the Business plan and up, according to its Business plan help article.
Jotform's integrations directory describes 150+ integrations across CRM, storage, payments, email marketing and automation, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Zapier, Make and webhooks. Both directories cover what a small firm typically needs.
OneForm's integrations are a much shorter list: CRM sync with HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce or Zoho, plus Google Sheets, Slack and webhooks. Check the specific CRM or storage app you use before deciding on any of the three.
Which is better for payments, e-signatures and PDFs?
This is where Jotform pulls ahead for operational forms, and where OneForm takes a different approach.
- Payments. Jotform says it connects to more than 40 payment gateways without charging additional transaction fees, so you pay only your processor's rate. Plans cap payment submissions per month: 10 on Starter, 100 on Bronze, 250 on Silver and 1,000 on Gold. Typeform's paid plans include a payment question through Stripe, and its Basic plan help also mentions PayPal. OneForm doesn't take payments inside the form; instead, on every plan including Free, a firm can charge for the report or a call after the form through its own Stripe account.
- E-signatures. Jotform Sign is a full e-signature product with signer roles and reusable documents; signed documents are capped per month by plan (10 on Starter up to 1,000 on Gold). Typeform offers a signature question on paid plans for signing agreements inline. OneForm doesn't offer e-signatures yet.
- PDFs and reports. Jotform's PDF submission report turns each submission into a PDF you can design and attach automatically to notification or autoresponder emails. Typeform's help center describes printing a response summary or individual responses to PDF by hand. OneForm's PDF is a written report drafted from the answers and your instructions, reviewed by your team before it's emailed.
- File uploads. Typeform and Jotform support them on paid plans. Typeform allows files up to 10 MB each on Basic, with 1 GB of storage on Basic, 2 GB on Plus and 4 GB on Business. Jotform's upload space runs from 100 MB on Starter to 100 GB on Gold. OneForm doesn't support file uploads yet.
How does Typeform pricing compare with Jotform and OneForm?
The three price their entry plans within a few dollars of each other, but they meter different things. Typeform counts responses: completed submissions across all your forms each month. Jotform counts submissions too, but also limits the number of active forms, monthly form views, total stored submissions, payment submissions and signed documents. OneForm counts responses and OneAI Tokens a month, and limits live forms only on the free plan.
Cost per response
At the entry level, Jotform gives you the most monthly volume. As of October 2026, Typeform Basic is $28 a month billed yearly for 100 responses, Jotform Bronze is $34 a month billed yearly for 1,000 submissions, and OneForm Basic is $19 a month ($190 a year) for 300 responses with unlimited live forms. At the top of the self-serve range, Typeform Business and Jotform Gold both allow 10,000 a month and both list at $129 billed monthly, though Typeform Business is $91 a month billed yearly against Jotform Gold's $99. OneForm Firm is $149 a month for 5,000 responses.
Seats
Typeform and OneForm are the better value if several people need their own logins. Typeform's Plus plan includes 3 users and Business includes 5; OneForm's Pro includes 3 team members and Firm 5. Jotform's pricing page describes Enterprise as the only multi-user plan, so a team on Bronze, Silver or Gold works from one login.
Limits worth knowing
- Typeform lets Basic users buy extra responses up to 750 a month, Plus up to 2,500 and Business up to 50,000, per its plan help articles.
- Typeform's Contacts & Automations add-on costs $25 a month for 2,400 actions (not available on Free or Basic) or $75 a month for 12,000 actions (not on Free, Basic or Plus).
- Jotform's pricing FAQ says that if you exceed total submission storage, it deletes the oldest response to make room. Export and purge old submissions if you keep long histories.
- Jotform offers a 50% discount on Bronze, Silver and Gold for eligible nonprofits and educational institutions.
- Typeform's billing FAQ says it does not issue refunds for plans canceled before the term ends; Jotform's pricing page offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- On OneForm, voice forms, auto-send and CRM sync start on Pro, while paid reports and bookings are on every plan, Free included.

What happens after someone submits, and how is the data handled?
After submit
Typeform sends responses to its Results area, to integrations and webhooks, and on paid plans can send follow-up emails to respondents, score and route leads, and redirect to a URL. Jotform sends submissions to Jotform Tables, Inbox and Report Builder, and its Workflows product adds approvals, assignments, e-signature steps and reminders. Jotform is the stronger fit when a submission has to move through people inside your organization.
OneForm is built around the step after submit. Its workflows draft the report, wait for approval, email the PDF, alert the team, and log to Google Sheets, Slack or a webhook. The client can book a call on the firm's booking page, and report emails show opens and clicks, so you know who read their report before you follow up.
Security and regulated data
Typeform's pricing page says data in transit uses TLS 1.2 and data at rest uses AES-256, and lists healthcare-compliance support, SSO and a choice of US or EU data center as Enterprise features. Jotform's pricing page lists healthcare-compliance features (encryption, auditing and data segmentation) on Gold and Enterprise, and says it complies with GDPR and CCPA. If you handle regulated health information, Jotform reaches it at a published price; Typeform requires a sales conversation. OneForm makes its AI calls with data storage turned off at the AI provider (store: false), and firms review every draft; see its security page.
Whichever you choose, keep full Social Security numbers, bank details and ID images out of a web form that feeds email and spreadsheets. Our guide to the client intake software for accounting firms covers where those belong.
Who should pick OneForm, Typeform or Jotform?
Pick OneForm if
- You're an accounting, tax or advisory firm and each response should become a written report for the client.
- You want every report reviewed and approved by your team before it goes out.
- You want to charge for the report or the follow-up call, or have prospects book a call after reading it.
- You want leads scored by their answers and engagement and synced to your CRM.
Pick Typeform if
- The form faces prospects or customers and the experience is part of your brand.
- Your volume is modest (hundreds, not thousands, of responses a month).
- Two to five people need their own logins without an enterprise contract.
- You want native lead scoring, follow-up emails and CRM sync in the same tool.
Pick Jotform if
- You need a free plan you can actually run something on.
- Your forms are long or operational: applications, registrations, intake, orders.
- You need payments, e-signatures, file uploads or a PDF of each submission without adding other apps.
- Submissions need internal approvals before anything happens.
- You need healthcare-compliance features without an enterprise contract.
A quick way to decide
- Decide whether the form should end in a written report for the client. If it should, start with OneForm.
- Estimate your monthly responses. Under 100, any of the three works; over 1,000, Jotform's entry plan is far cheaper per response.
- Count who needs to build forms. More than one person points to Typeform Plus, OneForm Pro or Jotform Enterprise.
- List what must happen after submit: payment, signature, PDF, approval, report or CRM sync. Each one a tool covers natively is one fewer app to connect.
- Build the same short form in the free plans and send it to three colleagues on their phones. Their reaction usually settles it.

Get started with OneForm. Pick a firm template such as the Tax Opportunity Report, or describe your own form in a sentence, then send yourself a test response to see the drafted report before any client does. The Free Forever plan covers 3 live forms and 50 responses a month. Start free.
Frequently asked questions
Is Jotform better than Typeform?
Neither is better across the board. Jotform is better for operational forms that need payments, e-signatures, PDFs, approvals or a large template library, and it gives far more submissions per dollar at the entry level. Typeform is better for short, branded, one-question-at-a-time forms aimed at prospects, and it includes multiple users on its Plus and Business plans, where Jotform keeps multi-user access to Enterprise.
Which is better for accounting firms: Typeform, Jotform or OneForm?
For a firm that wants each intake or checkup response turned into a written report the client receives after your review, OneForm is the better fit, since it is built for that step. Jotform fits long intake forms that need file uploads, e-signatures and PDFs of the answers. Typeform fits a short prospect questionnaire on your website. A practice-management suite still covers portals and organizers.
Which is cheaper: Typeform, Jotform or OneForm?
As of October 2026, OneForm has the lowest entry price at $19 a month for 300 responses, and Jotform the lowest cost per response at $34 a month billed yearly for 1,000 submissions. Typeform Basic is $28 a month billed yearly for 100 responses. At 10,000 a month, Typeform Business and Jotform Gold both list at $129 billed monthly, or $91 and $99 billed yearly.
Does Typeform have a free plan?
Yes. As of October 2026, Typeform's Free plan includes unlimited forms, logic, embedding, basic reports and Typeform AI, but only 10 responses a month across all forms. Payment, file upload and signature questions, branding removal and several integrations require a paid plan. Jotform's free Starter plan allows 5 forms and 100 submissions a month, and OneForm's Free Forever plan 3 live forms and 50 responses a month.
Can Jotform make one-question-at-a-time forms like Typeform?
Yes. Jotform's Card Forms show one question per page, and Jotform describes them as its conversational form option, with extras such as emoji sliders, micro-animations and video backgrounds. Jotform also offers a classic layout that shows all questions on a single page, which is often faster for respondents filling in long, data-heavy forms such as applications or intake questionnaires.
Can Typeform, Jotform or OneForm send a PDF of each response?
Jotform's PDF Editor generates a PDF for each submission, which you can attach automatically to notification or autoresponder emails. Typeform's help center describes printing responses to PDF manually. In both cases the PDF contains the submitted answers. OneForm drafts a written report from the answers and your firm's instructions, and emails it as a branded PDF once your team approves it.
