Clients pay into your firm's Stripe account. Stripe then sends the money to your bank on a schedule, as payouts. OneForm shows each payout and what it carried, so you can match it to your bank statement.
See your balance and next payout
Go to Payments. The Balance section shows:
- Available: money that goes out with your next payout.
- Pending: money that's still clearing.
- Next payout: how much, and when Stripe expects it to arrive.
Under Sales, pick a range to see Gross sales, Net to you, Stripe processing fees and Refunds.
See what a payout carried
- Go to Payments → Payouts.
- Click a payout. Payouts are listed newest first, with when they arrive, the amount, the status and the bank account.
- The payout opens with each payment, refund and Stripe fee it carried, and the order each payment came from.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Stripe has scheduled it. |
| On the way | It's on its way to your bank. |
| Paid | It reached your bank. |
| Failed | Your bank didn't accept it. The reason is shown on the payout. |
| Cancelled | It was stopped. |
Change the payout schedule
Only an owner can change it.
- Go to Payments → Payouts.
- In Payout schedule, click Change.
- Choose Daily, Weekly or Monthly, and the day for weekly or monthly payouts.
- Click Save.
In shorter months, a monthly payout set for a late day goes on the last day of the month.
Good to know
- Your first payout comes a few days after your first sale. Stripe holds new money for a short time before it's available, and the schedule card says how many days when it does.
- Fees: Stripe takes its processing fee from each payment. OneForm takes nothing.
- Bank account and instant payouts are changed in Stripe. Owners click Stripe dashboard at the top of Payments.
- Need the numbers for your books? Use Spreadsheet for your accountant on Payments → Invoices.
Why don't I see any payouts?
- "Connect your Stripe account on the Overview tab to see this." Your firm hasn't connected Stripe yet. See Connect Stripe.
- "An owner needs to connect the firm's Stripe account first." Ask an owner to connect it.
- "No payouts yet." You've connected Stripe, but there's been no sale, or the first payout isn't due yet.
- "Stripe didn't answer just now." Try again in a minute.
- Payouts say "Not yet" on the Stripe account card. Stripe needs more details first. An owner clicks Update details in Stripe on Payments.
Why can't I change the schedule?
The Change button is for owners only. If you're an owner and still don't see it, Stripe didn't share the schedule just now. Reload the page, or change it in the Stripe dashboard.
