Pay for your report

How paying for a report works, where your receipt is, and what to do if a payment doesn't go through.

For your clientsUpdated October 22, 2026 · 2 min read

Some accountants charge for a report. You pay by card at the end of the form, and the report is emailed to you once it's ready. Payments are handled by Stripe, so your card details go to Stripe, not to the form.

Pay for your report

  1. Fill in the form and click Submit.
  2. On the thank-you screen, click Pay & get my report.
  3. Pay with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link on the secure Stripe page.
  4. When you're done, you'll see Payment received.

You then get an email titled Payment received with an Open my page button. That page is where your report appears once it's ready, and where you can download it again later. Keep the email.

Get your report

When your report is ready, your accountant emails it to you with the PDF attached. It also shows on your page, with a Download PDF button. See Where is my report?

Your receipt

The Payment received email usually has a receipt attached as a PDF. It shows the amount, the date you paid and your accountant's refund policy, if they have one.

Didn't finish paying?

Your answers are saved, so there's nothing to fill in again.

  1. Open the payment reminder from your accountant. Its subject says your report is ready to unlock. If you don't have one, ask your accountant for the link.
  2. Click Complete payment.
  3. Pay on the Stripe page.

An unpaid order stays open for about a month. After that, the page says This payment link has expired. Contact your accountant if you'd still like the report.

Good to know

  • You aren't charged twice. If the page says This order has already been paid., your payment went through. Check your email for the Payment received message.
  • Refunds come from your accountant. Ask them directly. If they refund you, your page says This order was refunded, and the money takes a few days to show on your statement.
  • Questions about the price go to your accountant. Reply to any of their emails.

Why didn't my payment go through?

  • "The last payment didn't go through. Please try again." Your bank declined the card, or the payment was interrupted. Check the card details, try another card, or call your bank.
  • "Nothing was charged. You can pay whenever you're ready." You left the Stripe page before paying. Click Complete payment when you're ready.
  • "Too many tries from this connection." Wait a few minutes, then open your payment link again.
  • "Online payment isn't switched on for this firm yet" or "Payments aren't available right now." The problem is on your accountant's side, not yours. Try again later, or reply to their email.

I paid but the page still says "Payment received". Where's my report?

That's normal. Your accountant is still preparing or checking your report. The page says what's happening and updates by itself, and you'll get an email as soon as the report is sent.
