You can stop a firm's reminder and follow-up emails in one click. You'll still get the things you asked for, like your report and your booking details.
Unsubscribe
- Open a reminder or follow-up email from the firm.
- At the bottom, click Unsubscribe.
- On the page that opens, click Unsubscribe again.
You'll see You're unsubscribed. Opening the page alone doesn't change anything. Only the button does.
Many mail apps also show their own Unsubscribe link at the top of these emails. It does the same thing.
What stops and what doesn't
| You stop getting | You still get |
|---|---|
| Reminders to pay for a report | The confirmation that your answers arrived |
| Reminders that your report hasn't been opened | Your report, when the firm sends it |
| Follow-up emails and form invites | The Payment received email after you pay |
| Reminders before a booked call | Emails when a call is booked, moved or cancelled |
Unsubscribing applies to that one firm only. If you also deal with another firm, unsubscribe from its emails separately.
Good to know
- Emails you asked for can't be turned off. Your report and your booking emails aren't marketing. They're the service you asked for.
- Want to hear from them again? Ask the firm. They can remove your unsubscribe on their side.
- Want them to delete your details? Contact the firm directly. They hold your answers and decide how long to keep them. See Is my information safe?
Why is there no unsubscribe link in my email?
Emails you can't turn off, like your report or a booking confirmation, don't have one. To stop those, contact the firm and ask them not to send any more.
The page says "Link not found." What now?
The link is old or was copied only in part. Reply to any email from the firm and ask them to stop the reminders.
