One OneForm account can belong to several firms. Each firm has its own forms, clients, reports, team, plan and billing, and you can have a different role in each one. You work in one firm at a time and switch whenever you like.
Join another firm
Ask someone at that firm to invite you, using the email address you sign in with. Open the invite and click Sign in to join, or Join the team if you're already signed in with that address. See Invite your team.
Switch firms
- Click your name or photo at the top right.
- Choose Switch firm.
- Pick the firm, or start typing its name in Search your firms.
On a wide screen you can also click the firm's name in the top bar. Or press ⌘ K (Ctrl
K on Windows), type > and choose Switch firm.
Switch firm only appears once you belong to more than one firm.
Start a new firm
- Go to the firm chooser.
- Click + Start a new firm.
- Type the Firm name and click Create.
You become the new firm's owner, and OneForm opens it. It starts on a free plan with its own billing, separate from your other firms.
Good to know
- Sign-in opens your last firm. When you sign in, OneForm opens the firm you worked in last. If it can't tell, it asks you to pick one.
- One firm per browser at a time. When you switch firms in one tab, your other OneForm tabs reload into the new firm, so you never change the wrong firm by mistake.
- See all your firms on your profile. Profile → Your firms lists each firm and your role there. Open now marks the firm you're in.
- Your profile is shared. Your name, photo, email and password are the same in every firm.
Why do I see "You switched firms in another tab"?
You switched firms in another tab, so this tab is out of date. Reload the page to continue in the firm you switched to.
Why can't I start a new firm?
- "You've started several firms today." Try again tomorrow.
- "A firm you own is suspended." You can't start another firm while one you own is suspended. Contact support.
