You can sign in to OneForm with an emailed link, a password, Google or Microsoft. If one way isn't working, another usually does. Here's how to get back in.
Symptoms
- The sign-in link email never arrives.
- The link says That link has expired or was already used.
- Your password doesn't work, or you see Too many attempts.
- Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft shows an error, or opens the wrong account.
- An invite link from your team doesn't work.
Likely causes, most common first
- The sign-in email is in spam, or went to a different address than the one you use for OneForm.
- The link expired or was used. A sign-in link lasts 15 minutes and works once.
- The password is wrong, or you never set one. Many people sign in with links or Google and have no password.
- Too many tries. After several wrong passwords, OneForm pauses password sign-in for that account for 15 minutes.
- Google or Microsoft is signed in to a different account. Each one signs you in to the OneForm account with the same email address.
- The invite expired. Invites last 7 days and work once.
What to check
- Search your inbox and spam folder for Your sign-in link for OneForm.
- Check the email address you typed. Use the one your team invited you with.
- If you use Google or Microsoft, check which account you're signed in to in that browser.
How to fix it
- No email: wait a minute, check spam, then ask for a new link with Email me a sign-in link. If you asked several times, you may see Too many emails sent to that address. Wait a few minutes before trying again.
- Expired or used link: ask for a new one, and open it within 15 minutes. If a page asks you to Continue, press it only if you asked for the link yourself.
- Forgotten password: click Sign in with a password, then Forgot it?, and follow the email. Or skip the password and click Email me a link instead.
- "Too many attempts": wait 15 minutes, or sign in with an emailed link right away.
- Wrong Google or Microsoft account: sign out of it in your browser, or use a private window, then try again. Or use Email me a sign-in link with your work email.
- Expired invite: ask an owner or admin on your team to invite you again.
Signed in once, you stay signed in on that browser for weeks. If you're signed out often, check that your browser isn't clearing cookies when it closes.
Why does it say "Confirm your email first"?
You haven't confirmed your email address since signing up. OneForm has just sent a new confirmation link. Open it, then sign in.
Why does my invite say I'm signed in as someone else?
You're signed in to OneForm with a different email address than the one invited. Click the button on the invite page to sign in as the invited address, then accept the invite. If you'd rather join with the account you're using, ask your team to invite that address instead.
Why can't Google or Microsoft sign me in?
- "Google hasn't confirmed that email address": use your email address instead.
- "Microsoft didn't confirm an email address for that account": some work and guest accounts don't share their email address. Use your email address instead.
- "That Google sign-in expired. Start again.": click Continue with Google again.
When to contact support
If none of this works, contact support at oneform.si/support using the support form or email. You can't use Send feedback while signed out. Include the email address you sign in with and the exact message you see. Never send your password.
