Connect Salesforce

Create or update a Salesforce lead for each client, rated Hot, Warm or Cold from their OneForm lead score.

Salesforce gets every new client as a lead, rated by how likely they are to become a client. OneForm updates the open lead with the same email, or creates one, so syncing twice never makes a duplicate.

Connect Salesforce

The Salesforce panel on the Integrations page

  1. Go to Integrations. The Salesforce panel opens.
  2. Click Connect Salesforce.
  3. Sign in to Salesforce and allow OneForm access.
  4. You're back in OneForm, and Salesforce is connected.

What OneForm sends

OneForm looks for an open (not converted) lead with the person's email. It updates that lead, or creates a new one, with:

Salesforce field What goes in it
First Name, Last Name The client's name. Without a last name, OneForm uses the first name or the email.
Company Their company, or their name when there isn't one.
Email, Phone Their contact details.
Rating Hot, Warm or Cold, from the OneForm lead grade.
Description The OneForm lead score and the reasons for it.

If the person's lead was already converted, OneForm creates a new lead rather than touching the converted one.

Send leads from the Leads page

  1. Go to Leads. Tick the people to send, or filter the list. With nothing ticked, everyone shown is sent.
  2. Click Export.
  3. Under Send to your CRM or a sheet, choose your Salesforce account.

This needs full Leads on your plan, and an owner or admin. See Send leads to your CRM.

Send leads automatically

  1. Open Workflows and open the workflow you want.
  2. Click + (Add an action) and choose Send the lead to Salesforce.
  3. Under Salesforce account, choose the account.
  4. Under Which leads, choose Everyone, Warm & hot or Hot only.
  5. Click Test it, then Turn on (or Save and turn on).

Disconnect Salesforce

On the Integrations page, click Manage on the Salesforce card, then Disconnect. OneForm also gives up its access in Salesforce. The leads it made stay in Salesforce. The access OneForm keeps while connected is stored encrypted.

Why wasn't a lead sent to Salesforce?

  • They have no email. Salesforce leads are matched by email, so a lead with only a phone number is skipped.
  • The workflow action skipped them. It only sends the leads you chose under Which leads.
  • Salesforce access was removed or expired. The Salesforce card moves to Needs attention; click Reconnect.
